Is a week long enough to enjoy a vacation (with flight)?

Its about $300 for me to fly from WA to CA. It’s expensive because its to a small airport, not like LAX. That’s round trip. I didn’t realize that prices go up by the day. Alaska airlines is the pick. I was thinking 10-11 days might be better, but dang! What should I do to make the best of it? I fly out to make it there on a Mon. by 4:30 pm and leave the following Mon. by 10am. So, really, it’s 6 days.
I hadn’t had planned this months ahead of time. It was really a last minute decision.
generally, I would like to eat out with my relative, be with him, go to a concert, go to theme park, relax, and feel away from home for a period of time.
