Disneyland Hotel Resort and park ticket packages?

I’m planning a trip to Disneyland in the Fall and am looking for way to save money while staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I know it’s expensive, but I’m a total snob and it’s the only place I’ll stay.

Normally, I’d have an Annual Passport and use that discount, but since we decided to only go once a year now, I need another way to get a discount.

Has anyone ever bought a package for the Disneyland Hotel and multi-day tickets into the park before? If yes, who did you purchase the package from?

I have kids and am a Disneyland “veteran,” I guess, but again, just have never bought a full package to the Hotel and park tickets before. So I’m wondering if it’s a better deal than going straight through Disney and buying everything seperately.
I live in Northern California, and will be driving there.
I’ve stayed at the Grand Californian before (twice). It is beautiful, but certainly not a good way to save money.

If you are looking to save money, a Disney Hotel Resort package will not do it. In fact, just the opposite. What you do get, however, are perks that “normal” guests don’t have access to, like front row seating at the Aladdin show.

To get the best prices, you may have to renew your annual pass.
